Annecy Animation Festival 2016 All time favourite animations!

Pendant ma première visite au Festival d'animation d'Annecy 2016, j'ai voulu apprendre un maximum de mes collègues présents au Festival et en rencontrer le plus grand nombre possible ainsi que glaner des idées pour programmer les animations de Carn to Cove (www.carntocove.co.uk)  avec des films populaires. C'est-à-dire choisis de manière aléatoire par ceux qui faisaient la file avec moi  ou qui étaient assis à mes côtés devant un écran.

 Je leur ai posé deux questions:

1)    quel est votre film d’animation préferé de tous les temps?
2)    quel est votre court-metrage préféré de tous les temps?





Une fois avoir surmonté le choc du à la façon inattendue dont un parfait inconnu s’est adressé à eux, les personnes ont réfléchi longuement sur ce sujet, et voici les résultats :

Shahnemeh by Adverse Camber at Perranporth Memorial Hall

An enthralling evening of music and storytelling from Persia presented by Adverse Camber at Perranporth Village Hall on Carn to Cove Saturday 17th March 2018  I only had a vague knowledge of the epic poem The Shahnameh (the Book of Kings)   as a critical work in Persian/Iranian culture......but the evening in Perranporth Memorial Hall  that Adverse Camber presented their show of the stories and the music of that world brought all sorts of insights, exotic worlds and memories.  The hall was thronging ...evidently Persian storytelling a subject to draw Cornish audiences on a cold March evening.   Two performers,  Xanthe Gresham Knight, a storyteller, and Arash Moradi, musician conjured the exotic and dazzling world of the Persian Book of Kings.    The stories were collected and written over thirty years  at around 1000 AD by the poet Ferdowsi and the epic poem consist of 50000 lines of verse in rhyming couple...

Jennet Campbell MBE

On Friday we celebrated the life of Jennet Campbell in Gerrans Church with a tribute led by Emma Campbell her daughter, and readings by daughter Sally and friends.  Local poet and county councillor Bert Biscoe gave the eulogy. Jennet Campbell was a critical influence on the development of many musicians in Cornwall, either directly or indirectly - through her own teaching or through the work of the  Radford Trust and the instrument provision scheme they have provided for many children coming to music for the first time. She received and MBE and was created a bard in the Kernow Gorsedd for her contribution to music in Cornwall.  She was the niece of musicians Maisie and Evelyn Radford, the two sisters who had settled St Anthony in Roseland and founded Falmouth Opera Group in the 1930s.  She inherited their studio and Coastguards in the village and it was from this Cornish centre of operations that her remarkable contribution to music at parish level (formation of ...
